How it Works
Once young people have expressed an interest they will be matched to a local employer taking into account occupational interest and curriculum studies. The process will be managed locally by the Making Learning Work team who will support the student in the work place. The employer, and the team representing the students placement, will develop and agree a training programme to meet the students needs. The student will usually spend an agreed period of time with the employer gaining valuable vocational skills.
